LOSING WEIGHT

LOSING WEIGHT

Are you someone who has tried every diet, read every diet book but still not managed to loose any weight yet or very little. If so, then there may be some deeper psychological reason that is holding you back from achieving your ideal weight.

Alix Needham can help you to get to the root of your weight problem and using a variety of techniques help you to loose that excess weight permanently.

TIPS TO HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT

Write down your plan

Try making a plan using a number of these tips and write it down then stick it somewhere visible. This will help you stick to your goals and give you something to mark off daily. If you get to the end of the week and feel that you have done well give yourself a treat.

Substitute foods don’t eliminate them

Trying diet and reduced fat and sugar foods is a better option than doing away with the foods altogether. If you like crisps and want to continue to eat them try the reduced fat version you may even find they taste better than the original ones.

Fluids

Instead of having glasses of milk and fizzy drinks try something different like flavoured water this can really reduce your calorie intake daily and water is much better for your health.

Exercise

Many people that are trying to lose weight will start going to the gym or get a dog and take it for a couple of walks around the park a day. Even just getting up and having a stroll around the park once a day can lead to a great impact on your diet. It is about doing it everyday and sticking religiously to it

Eat when you are calm

If you are upset, wait until the feeling passes or lessons before you try to eat. Do not try to eat a full meal if you are stressed or upset. Opt for soup or a juice, as they are easier to digest.

Find out what's eating you

Eating unhealthy foods can often be triggered by boredom, loneliness, anger, depression and other emotions. Learning to deal with emotions without indulging yourself in food is a significant skill that will greatly serve long- term weight control.

Throw out the scales

If you want to develop a whole new positive relationship with food you must look at it in a new way. Allow your body to find its natural weight. Depriving yourself and saving up calories for unhealthy food is a recipe for disaster. Stop weighing and counting and release yourself.

A Final Word

Weight loss is not something that will happen over night it will take a long time and commitment to start seeing really good results. Make a decision to start losing weight and break down your goals into days and weeks so that each milestone is smaller.
